Global Network for Public Health
The Global Network for Academic Public Health (Global Network) enhances academic public health worldwide through mutual learning and collaborations between academic public health institutions globally in order to improve and protect the health of people and the planet.

World Federation of Public Health Associations
WFPHA is a professional society representing and serving the broad field of public health internationally. CAPHIA is an active member of the association including participation in research and education into workforce development and accreditation of public health professionals. Through CAPHIA’s membership with the Global Network, we are also contributing to the 17th World Congress on Public Health in Rome May 2-6 2023, hosted by the World Federation of Public Health Associations. This includes opportunities for staff and students of CAPHIA member institutions to present, network and have their work showcased.

World Health Organization (WHO)
CAPHIA is contributing to the WHO initiative to define and uplift the public health workforce globally through its work with the Global Network. This has included ability to nominate public health academics to govern and inform development of a capability framework.

Public Health Association of Australia Inc (PHAA)
In Australia, the Public Health Association of Australia Inc (PHAA) provides a forum for the exchange of ideas, knowledge and information on public health. The Association is also involved in advocacy for public health policy, development, research and training.
PHAA has Branches in every state and territory. Membership of over 1700 individuals spans the health spectrum and over 40 public health related occupations are represented.

PHA NZ is a national membership organisation with a commitment for health and well-being within New Zealand.
