- About the Series
The climate crisis impacts health on the individual, community and population levels in a myriad of ways. From environmental impacts resulting from extreme climatic events to a decline in access to health care and increasing inequality in health and social support, climate change is bringing major direct and indirect health impacts to communities around the world.
Experts in climate change will explore the effects of climate change on all facets of health and wellbeing in this masterclass, including health risks experienced by communities who are the most vulnerable, including women, low-SES communities, migrants and older populations.
This masterclass will give attendees the opportunity to ask questions. The event will be available for viewing after the session on Vimeo along with some take-home messages.
