WHO Public Health Workforce Roadmap and Action Plan
The WHO Steering Group guiding the Roadmap and Action Plan are inviting public health experts and public health academics from CAPHIA member institutions achieve its targets. Workstream 2 of the WHO collaborative involves development of a Competency and Outcomes Framework for education and training. The scope of the framework recommended by the October Steering Committee meeting includes health promotion, surveillance, programme planning and evaluation, emergencies, epidemiology, data and leadership.

Call for Nominations: Technical Working Group members
Nominations for approximately 15 working group members are being called for. The Technical Working Group plans to convene a first meeting towards the end of November/early December for orientation and advice on domains.
Scope: The Terms of Reference will likely include members:
- Advising on the strategic and methodological approach to develop a Competency and Outcomes Framework for the Public Health and Emergency Workforce;
- Providing feedback and direction on iterative drafts of the framework;
- Review consultation feedback and advise on the refinement and finalization of the framework.
Commitment: 4-6 hours per month from November 2022 to May 2023.

Call for Nominations: Subject Matter Experts for Peer Review
Approximately 50 individuals are required to peer review the competency framework, once developed. CAPHIA has been requested to nominate 2-3 Australasian Public Health Academics to take part in this peer review.
Required: Public Health expertise and/or Public Health and education expertise
Commitment: Review two drafts of the framework, February – April 2023
