The World Federation of Public Health (WFPHA), SItI (Italian Society of Hygiene, Preventive Medicine and Public Health) and ASPHER (Association of Schools of Public Health in the European Region) are delighted to announce that the 17th World Congress on Public Health will be held May 2nd – 6th 2023 in Rome, Italy. Abstracts are now open and are special exhibitor rates can be arranged for CAPHIA member institutions.
The Covid-19 pandemic situation and its consequences have highlighted the importance and value of public health by emphasizing how, as never before, health protection must become a priority at a global level. This has informed the theme: A World in Turmoil: Opportunities to Focus on the Public’s Health” and the Congress’ goal to identify all health threats and work together to promote equity by building a more sustainable future.
The Congress will develop a scientific panel at a high level, with the involvement of some of the greatest experts of the sector: Prof. Walter Ricciardi, Prof. Italo Angelillo, Prof. Bettina Borisch, Prof. Luis Eugenio de Souza, Ph.D. Antonio Ferro, Ph.D. Marta Lomazzi, Prof. John Middleton, Ph.D. Robert Otok, Prof. Carlo Signorelli, Prof. Roberta Siliquini.
