Join the 2025 Teaching and Learning Forum Scientific Committee
The CAPHIA Teaching and Learning Forum (the Forum) is CAPHIA’s annual flagship event and is designed to facilitate the sharing of best practice in evidence-based public health teaching and learning, and to provide a key networking opportunity for public health researchers and academics to share and transfer knowledge.
The 2025 Teaching and Learning Forum will be hosted by the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). The Forum will be an in-person only event taking place on November 6th and 7th 2025 in Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. The 2025 Forum is co-chaired by A/Prof Deb Debono and Dr Daniel Demant from UTS.
The 2025 Forum Scientific Committee provide input and advice to the CAPHIA Executive Director and the Forum Local Organising Committee on the development of the Forum program. The Committee will collaborate to ensure Forum content is current, relevant, interesting, and of value to Forum participants, and to the community of practice
CAPHIA is now calling for EOIs from staff and students from member organisations. Selection will consider:
- Representation of geographic area
- Representation across member institutions
- Diversity of gender
- Diversity of culture and field of expertise
- Diversity of public health experience
Academics of all levels of experience as well as students are encouraged to apply.
