This year, we are excited to welcome two new Board Members Associate Professor Ben Harris-Roxas and Associate Professor Gemma Crawford, whose expertise and perspectives will further enrich CAPHIA’s strategic direction and impact. Their contributions will support our ongoing work in:
- Advancing excellence in public health teaching and learning
- Strengthening collaboration across universities and public health organisations
- Supporting capacity-building initiatives for educators, early career academics, and students
- Driving national conversations on public health workforce development
The Board have also elected their new leadership – Associate Professor Julie Saunders as Chair, and Professor Chrissy Severinsen as Deputy Chair. Congratulations Julie and Chrissy!
We look forward to working together to continue building a strong, connected, and future-focused public health education community.
Here’s to a productive and inspiring year ahead with CAPHIA Board of Directors.
Thank you to our incredible outgoing Directors – Professor Rebecca Ivers AM, and Associate Professor Kath Francis. We are lucky to have such a committed and diverse team of professions to advance public health.
