CAPHIA is offering several travel bursaries to support students for whom financial or other barriers might otherwise prevent their participation.
CAPHIA member institutions span Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. We understand that many students will need to travel to attend the Hackathon and for financial reasons, this may be a challenge for some students.
Inclusivity is at the heart of public health, and Design Thinking which depends on bringing multiple perspectives together and keeping the needs of diverse populations in mind. One of our key objectives for the Hackathon is to assemble diverse teams that bring a range of perspectives to the table. In the interest of diversity and inclusion CAPHIA are offering individuals and teams the opportunity to apply for a travel bursary to cover their travel expenses (flights, accommodation) and registration fees.
