Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Health Services Management, School of Health Sciences
Western Sydney University are seeking a forward thinking, dynamic, and innovative scholar to take on a role in Health Services at the level of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer and to contribute to our undergraduate and postgraduate programs in this area. The incumbent will have expertise and experience in Health Services Management and the ability to teach in a range of Health Service Management areas.
In this position you will be expected to be involved in a range of academic activities including the coordination and teaching of units in the Health Services Management programs. You will be expected to conduct research and supervise, where appropriate, undergraduate (Honours) and postgraduate (Masters and PhD) students in their area of expertise. You will work closely with research and teaching staff in the School of Health Sciences and will be encouraged to develop collaborations across the wider University. You will also be required to foster relevant relationships external to the University for health services management work placements.

Senior Lecturer in Public Health / Global Health
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Lecturer in the School of Public Health to demonstrate excellence and a sustained record of outstanding impact in teaching, research and service. They will have expertise and national/international recognition in Public Health and/or Global Health with the ability to contribute to the development, teaching and coordination of public health courses. A clinical background (public health medicine, nursing, allied health) is desirable as there is the potential to teach into UQ’s MD Program. The Curtin Medical School – Discipline of Medicine is seeking to recruit an experienced and inspiring leader in medical education to provide educational leadership to our medical student program. The holder of this senior position will have experience in and a deep understanding of pedagogy including curriculum and assessment development and oversight, admission processes, and accreditation as they relate to medical student education. They will lead a dedicated team of professional, academic and clinician academic staff and work closely with the Director – Medical Program, Director – Clinical Education, Year Coordinators and the Curtin Medical School – Director of Learning and Teaching.
