CAPHIA Public Health Teaching & Learning Fora in 2018 – New Zealand and Australia
CAPHIA is excited to be hosting two Public Health Teaching & Learning Fora in 2018.
This includes the first CAPHIA Teaching and Learning Forum in New Zealand, to be held at the Mana Hauora Building at the South Campus of the Auckland University of Technology (pictured below) on 17 April 2018. The conference theme is “Practicing what we preach: Connections and communication in public health teaching & learning”.

Please send your Teaching and Learning Forum Registration Form to email@example.com by 15 February 2018 to received the discounted Early Bird registration. Abstracts are invited from all academics and others interested in public health education and learning in the Australasia region. They should be sent to the same email address by 15 February 2018, using the attached abstract form. This is an extension from 1 February due to widespread demand.
An Australia-based Teaching and Learning Forum will be held in Cairns on 24 and 25 September, immediately prior to the Australian Public Health Conference 2018. More details about the CAPHIA Teaching and Learning Forum will be made available in 2018, including registration forms and guidance on abstract templates.
CAPHIA 2017 Meetings at Parliament House

CAPHIA Sideline Session at the World Congress of Public Health – April 2017
The CAPHIA Sideline Session at the World Congress of Public Health brought together for the first time organisations representing universities and other institutions that teach and research public health from across the globe. A summary document highlights key messages from this meeting, which reinforced CAPHIA’s value using comparator organisations. The meeting also highlighted how CAPHIA’s relationship with PHILE is world-leading.
